Around the time that Tic Code started forming, I began to write all these pop songs that didn't fit with any of my current projects, so I put them on the back burner until Tic Code got off the ground. A couple years later Simpl became a real band with David Gerritsen on bass, Joshua Brookoff on guitar and Scott Hawkins on drums.
